Our ability to work through our fears and face them as beautiful challenges.

Our ability to live with the ever emerging mystery of creation and the unknown.

Our ability to know what we truly desire and “let desire be our compass”.

Our ability to move with our own rhythm and workflow.

That is what it will take to not just start and grow but sustain our Radical Projects and Enterprises for generations to come.

If you’re looking for someone to help you write a business plan, design your website, help with business cards, hand you a marketing blueprint, do your taxes or review your legal documents… we’re not right for you.

We intend on growing your Entrepreneurial Resilience so that you can be present enough to make the best decisions for yourself on your creative journey. We make sure you learn how to effectively process and respond to any situation you find yourself in. We provide the container to hold you and incubate your work. We create the fertile environment within which you can heal and grow into the Radical Entrepreneur you already are.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We value implementation. We want you to get things done.

20% CONTENT DELIVERY (INFORMATION) + 80% IMPLEMENTATION WORK (DOING/MANIFESTING): Most programs pack information in you'll never be able to implement. We're not interested in teaching you MORE things. We just want you to really implement what you learn through what you're already doing. If you follow our advice and guidance, our program will fit seamlessly with the work you already do. 

We value accountability. We want you to feel held. 

WEEKLY: We teach you how to identify, explore and refine your ideas one week at a time. On Mondays, you publicly declare the most important thing you will accomplish that week. On Friday, you update the community on what you did and what you learned from it.

MONTHLY: We teach you how to work with goals, not as static facts, but as ever-changing assumptions and experiments. Every month, you'll evaluate how the goals you've set (or what you thought you wanted) shift as you move and the ecosystem around you responds with valuable feedback. You update your goals based on your new findings to make sure they are accurate and in line with your deepest desires.

QUARTERLY: We teach you how to integrate and set time aside for everything you've learned to settle. 

We value communal growth. We want you to know you're not alone. 

MARATHONIC STAMINA: Building a radical enterprise is a marathon, and we use the power of community to direct your energy, fuel your desire and cheer you on.

EXPONENTIAL GROWTH: What we learn in community can have exponential impact on our healing, growth and resilience. We offer you the opportunity to learn from other like-minded radical entrepreneurs on the journey.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

THE FOUNDATION: CORE CURRICULUM 

Our core curriculum will provide you with tools, systems and approaches that boost your Entrepreneurial Resilience. It is delivered through two 15 to 30-minute pre-recorded video sessions per month. Each segment ends with clear action steps you need to take to integrate the lessons into your project or enterprise. The lessons are generally layered from the most basic concepts to the more complex applications so that anyone at any level can benefit from them. You can watch these sessions on your own time, at your own pace.

LIVE COLLECTIVE COACHING

You have the option to participate in 2 live group coaching sessions per month (with Ije and Samia), where you can work through more specific questions based on the core curriculum or your project. If you can’t attend the live sessions, you can always leave us your questions on the session’s page beforehand. We always provide the recordings for those sessions.

LIVE COLLECTIVE WORK SESSION

You have the option to join a virtual co-working session per month with your cohort community of Radical Entrepreneurs. We work together on to-dos we’ve been avoiding and keep each other accountable in community.

A VIRTUAL COMMUNITY + EXTRA TOOLS & RESOURCES

We require that you to join our small & private Facebook group where you can interact with other Radical Entrepreneurs in the program to get feedback, support and encouragement. We will be sharing resources, tools, technology etc. to help move you forward. If you don't operate on Facebook, we can help you get set up in a way that won't interfere with your needs.

LIVE FACEBOOK OFFICE HOURS

For those who prefer to ask questions in the written form, you can join us twice a month for Facebook Office Hours where we will respond to questions on the spot, in writing.

**WITH OPTION 2 ONLY** MONTHLY ONE-ON-ONE SESSION

As part of Option 2, participants get a one 60-min private session with the facilitators (Ije or Samia) per month. This is designed for Radical Entrepreneurs who need and are ready for more consistent customized, individualized and intensive attention because they are:

One: Running young enterprises in high-growth mode and need some focused midwiving attention.

Two: Running mature enterprises and need more in-depth attention to review all aspect of their enterprise and devise a strategy for their existing organization.

Three: Have the time and resources to focus on getting more intensive attention on specific entrepreneurial areas that we cover in the core curriculum. 

ADD-ONS (@ A DISCOUNTED PRICE FOR ALL MEMBERS)

ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS: Anyone (from package 1 or 2) has the option to get additional 30 or 60 mins of private, personal support per month at a discounted rate. We will work more intensively on your project or enterprise. And if you want more than that, we can discuss an alternative setup.

MASTER CLASSES / GROUP INTENSIVES: You can join a live master class or group intensive on a topic of the participants’ choice - also at discounted rate from the public. In these classes, we will focus on working through a particular collective issue or aspect of your projects in a small group setting.  This can include: website creation, brand and messaging, content creation, radical selling, team development, reading financials, radical investment etc.

EVENTS / CONFERENCES: Turtle Tank will be hosting speakers and other virtual events. All participants in our Collective Coaching Program will be able to attend most of our virtual events for free.

WHAT'S THE COMMITMENT?

ONGOING SUBSCRIPTION

We've designed the Collective Coaching Program as an ongoing monthly subscription program (and yes, you can end your subscription at any time).  We want you to stay or leave as you please and need. 

That said: we don't believe in quick fixes. If you’re really serious about growing your Radical Enterprise, we have to be real with you. We know how much time it actually takes to really move through your growth cycles. Anyone who promises you that you’ll experience revolutionary shifts in less than 12 months is bullshitting you.

Radical Projects and Enterprises are like children. They take time to grow and bloom. We are invested in the journey of radical change over time.

If you are you too, we recommend that you consider committing to our program for at least 3 MONTHS to really get a taste of what we do (and get clear about what you want). And if you’re looking for deep radical change and growth, we recommend committing to our program for at least 12 MONTHS. As coaches and  strategists, that’s when we’ve seen the most growth with our clients.

TIME REQUIREMENTS

The minimum requirement to stay in our program: setting aside 15mins/day + attending one live event/month (Coaching call, Facebook Officer Hours, Virtual Co-Working Session, Individual Session). We see that this basic time commitment can help you set the necessary habits that will grow your Entrepreneurial Resilience. Your time commitment will organically grow as you see fit and as your projects/enterprise develop. 

We also require that you keep up with our basic accountability process which happens weekly, monthly and quarterly -- as best as you can (and it's completely doable with the 15mins/day allotment). 

We've structured the program in a way such that all Radical Entrepreneurs at any level of their development or their enterprise's development can participate on their own terms and at their own pace. We layer the information from the very basics into more complexity so that you can access it how you need it (basics first, intensives later). You can choose to participate at whatever level you see fit for you, as long as you honor the minimal commitment. 

WHY DO MOST ENTERPRISES FAIL (HOW IS OUR PROGRAM DIFFERENT)?

We believe that most enterprises fail (primarily and permanently) because the people that grow them lack Entrepreneurial Resilience: the ability to understand and sustainably navigate their very own unique entrepreneurial journey (what we call at Turtle Tank: the mystery of creation).

People usually blame their failures on everything else -- from lack of market traction to irreconcilable team differences.

Here’s the thing: developing Entrepreneurial Resilience is not a sexy or flattering process. It’s quite challenging. Experimentation (what we commonly refer to as “failing”) needs to become our friend. Mystery needs to be exciting. Risk needs to be fun, measured and affordable (especially for at-risk marginalized folks). The journey towards Entrepreneurial Resilience is much more demanding than the enterprise itself (enterprises and projects do really come and go) and we need to attend to it to truly manifest.

Entrepreneurial Resilience is challenging because it requires a constant commitment to healing, learning and growing. With that we develop the Strategic Instinct we need to make decisions and work with (rather than against) the unknown. It makes us creative, agile, adventurous and powerful. With Entrepreneurial Resilience, we are able to effectively respond to anything that emerges -- especially the most challenging circumstances.

That said, we started Turtle Tank with the dream of providing 2 essential elements to growing economic justice and radical wealth. While you’re in the Tank (Turtle Tank that is), we want to:

ONE: Teach you how to fish → Grow your Entrepreneurial Resilience [Already happening]

TWO: Provide fishing spaces → Provide access to financial (and other) resources [We’re strategizing to make that happen]

We don’t believe in the old adage of the importance of “teaching how to fish” over “giving the fish”. We believe that we need to do both, proportionally and simultaneously. Our approach to growing Entrepreneurial Resilience is underway through programs like the Collective Coaching Program for Radical Entrepreneurs. Our strategy to providing financial and other resources is in the works…

We work with 2 aspects of Entrepreneurial Resilience:

Inner strategy and Outer strategy.

Outer strategy is what we’re most familiar with. It’s about how we design our work. It covers:

• How to know what you’re really meant to work on / your path and purpose
• How to pick and launch a project from scratch (or many projects at once)
• How to read the signs, take calculated risk & embrace the unknown
• How to design an enterprise model that works for who you are
• How to fail smartly and quickly
• How to make $$$
• And all the other technical stuff

Inner strategy is often left out of many entrepreneurship and business trainings. It’s about how we’re designed to do our work. It covers:

• How to be true to your innermost desires
• How to manage your energy (not your time)
• How to understand how you’re designed to do work
• How to build new habits and create the lifestyle you want
• How to increase productivity (not by doing more, but by doing the right things in the right order)
• How to stay inspired and in the flow
• How to deal with the impact of trauma, injustice and oppression on your behavior so you don’t sabotage your dreams

I have also worked with Samia and Ije one-on-one in the past. Samia is a genius for creating systems for organizing one's goals and dreams, as well as, strategizing radical entrepreneurship, while Ije is a goddess of reframing one's internal bullies into love balms and self acceptance salve and giving concrete revolutionary tools for minimizing energy drains, finding the "hows" of how you work most gloriously while having the most fun.
